形態特徵

Suffrutescent herbs or low shrubs, to 3m tall, pith white.
Leaves imparipinnate; leaflets 3–5, membranaceous, sessile or short petiolulate, glabrous, lanceolate, 7–20 cm long, 2–5 cm broad, acuminate, base obtuse to rounded and oblique, serrulate, upper surface dark, lower surface paler, midrib and veins indistinct on upper surface, slender and raised on lower surface, lateral veins 8–12 per side, reticulations indistinct; petioles 2–3 cm long.
Inflorescence a terminal compound corymb, more or less pubescent; some flowers modified into erect, short stalked, yellow, cylindric, urceolate or top-shaped nectaries, ca. 2–2.5 mm long, 1–2 mm wide; staminate and pistillate flowers in same inflorescence. Staminate flowers white, on slender pedicel, calyx lobes triangular, ca. 0.5 mm long, corolla rotate, 5-lobed, ovate, ca. 1.5 mm long, stamens 5, alternating with corolla lobes, anthers rounded; pistillate flowers apetalous; ovary 3-celled, style very short, stigma 3-lobed.
Fruits globose, fleshy, red, pyrenes 3.

分布

台灣 : very common in thickets from low elevations to 2,000 m.
世界 : China, Japan and the Ryukyus.
